Are you guilty of being a
narcissistic oversharing hack?

Oversharing is the latest indulgence to hit our posts, so much so, Webster's New World Dictionary announced "overshare" as 2008's Word of the Year.

The term overshare was made popular by the sleeping beauty pictured above, former gawker.com editor Emily Gould who was recently crucified for, well... oversharing when she blogged.

So is oversharing the latest fad or a "larger cultural shift", as Geekcentric's Michael Duff has so eloquently described it? Does new media audience expect to get raunchy tit bits and juicy left overs?

We thought you might like to know how you're perceived by an audience and view the consequences for some bloggers who can't help but flood from the mouth er keyboard ... mmm what did that Zen monk say about a leaky vessel?

Flip on over to our blog and have a look at what we've put together for you. Oh and by the way ... undersharing has negative consequences too- snore snore.
